My name is Bridget, I am 24 years old and I live in Florida. Over the course of the last 5 months I have lost almost 50lbs, and still have about 30-35 more until I reach my goal weight. I pride myself on being an aunt, sister, and friend. I made this blog to help motivate myself and share my journey with others.

Alright, here goes nothing…. Never did I ever think that I would feel comfortable posting any before photos of myself on the internet. However, I have worked damn hard to have lost 48 lbs, and since I will never see that weight again, I’ll go ahead and say fuck it. I am 24 years old, 5’5”, and in all three before photos my weight was about 215. The after, or should I say, “during”, photos are at about 170. I am at 167 currently. In May of 2012 I decided to start eating healthy along with exercise and have seriously been amazed by how much making little changes in your daily lifestyle can do. I still have quite a ways to go — Ideally, I ~think~ I would like to weigh about 130 lbs, however, I would just be happy to have a BMI in the normal range and will reevaluate based on how I feel. I am happy to say that I am finally out of the “obese” range and dropped down into the “overweight” range and, hey, that’s moving in the right direction if you ask me!
